Ride For the Peaches (or) Go and Sit!

"Get on your bikes and ride..." or heck, let's just go. We've all been talkin' about the possibility of doing a bike ride in Yellow Springs then restoring our energy (or depleting it depending on how you look at it) at Peaches. Here are a couple of suggestions:

  • (non-bike ride) Go LATE Friday night (july 14) @ 8:30 for eats and stay for $5 concert featuring Midnight Blue. We'd be out 'til midnight. You can handle it.
  • (non-bike ride) Go LATE Saturday night (july 15) @ 8:30 for eats and stay for $5 concert featuring Katie Reider. We'd be out 'til midnight. Take a nappy the next day for God's sake.
  • (bike ride) Meet in Yellow Springs on Sunday or Monday late afternoon for the "Ride For the Peaches". These are both decent nights 'cause all their drafts are $1 each.
  • (bike ride) Meet in Yellow Springs on Tuesday evening around 7 pm for the "Ride For the Peaches". All imported bottle beer is $2 each.
  • (bike ride) Meet in Yellow Springs on Wednesday. Meet at around 7 pm for the "Ride For the Peaches". It's margarita night -$2 each. Ole'

So what's your thoughts gang???????????

Hey, thanks for all your homework. Sat is a possibility, but us Weide's vote for Sun, with a bike ride. We can determine the distance together, whatever feels right for those riding and then predict our arrival time to Peaches for those who'd prefer to meet there. Sound ok?

Doreen & I are "in" for the Sunday "Ride for Peaches". It's supposed to be a hot day, so we thought starting at 7:00 PM would be cooler. Is that too late? I'm still on vacation, but I know you have to work next morning. Would you rather do this earlier so we have more "Peaches" time? You and Lynda talk it over and I'll call you tonight (Friday). Oh, we may ask some friends to join us.

Sorry John & Terri can't come due to family coming in - there will be a "Ride for the Peaches #2" I'm sure.

Sounds great Bob, our only thought would be whether starting at 7pm would have us riding "back" to vehicles or wherever in the dark? We will be at the opening night performance tonight for "Bye Bye Birdie" at BHS...Ian is in the production! So...you may need to leave us a message...or call my cell during the day...you can get that # from The Hoffs.

We now vote for starting at 6 PM, biking about an hour out/back toward Spfld from the Yellow Springs Parking lot next to bike path. We'd be done w/ the bike between 7-7:30 and then enjoy some eats & refreshments. How's this sound?

PS - enjoy the show tonight. We'd love to see it, but have other plans. Maybe Ian will be in something else sometime that we can see. As you know, we are used to the Drama Productions in our family with Lindsay - both on and off stage performances :-) so it would be nice to see Ian do his thing.

I'm logging off for now - Gotta go do "honey do" stuff...#$%*!
