It's that time of year....Eric is on the move today back to Bowling Green...GO FALCONS! Ay Ziggy Zoomba!
Much of the day was spent yesterday pulling together all of his "stuff" in preparation for the trip today....we'll miss having him around the house. Back to school time is always bitter sweet.

We cannot help but wonder whether it may be time for the "Ride for the Peaches II"??

Well, here is how we looked after completing our 160 miles over two days this past weekend....at least we are all still standing!!! The five of us rode as "Team Wellness Connection" (one of the 4 benefiting charities of the Young's Charity Bike Tour. It was quite HOT last weekend and a LOT of water and Gatorade went IN - in an ongoing attempt to keep up with what was pouring OUT of us all weekend!! An incredible effort by everyone involved!!! If you look closely at Eric's right shoulder....you can see a tear in his jersey. He took quite a fall in a crash taking a corner very early in the ride on Sunday.....but once he was bandaged up and the bike repaired, he was back on the road determined to continue - great job Eric!!! Lynda and Ian worked the event both days at one of the rest stops providing cold drinks, lots of food, cold towels and a lot of motivation to the riders - so a BIG thank you to them! We'll be out on the roads the rest of the summer.....so let's ride!!
